Junior Learning has partnered with Beanstalk Books to create The Phase 2 Essentials Max Single Kit of Decodable Readers Readers.
The single kit includes one copy of every title.
The Essentials Max Kit is comprised of a set of our Fiction and Non-Fiction titles from both set one and set two. This is a great kit to expand your collection of Decodable Readers and introduce more titles for added variety. Set one and set two follow the same scope and sequence, set two was added for further variety.
Also added into the Essentials Max kit is our Science titles of Decodable readers and both sets of our Hilo (high interest level, low reading age) readers, The Beanies. The Beanies have been written following the same progression, but use slightly older characters and stories to engage older readers.
The Essentials Max kit also includes The Pods.
Phase 2 Letter Sound readers introduce the first 21 letter sounds. The text uses only decodable regular words (according to the week by week progression) along with 'tricky words'. Phase 2 readers have a strictly controlled vocabulary that follows the letter-by-letter progression.
